Who is Zabriskie?

This place is one one of the most popular places in Death Valley. Sunrise and sunset will find most photographers lined up along the overlook or on various ridges of the formations waiting for that glorious light. Different shades of tan, grey and some reds glow when the light hits it just right. I wasn’t fortunate to be able to photograph it at the ideal times but we did venture to the top and grab some shots.
